On November 3, 2022, Huaxing participated in the "9th Municipal Waste Incineration Technology and Equipment Seminar" held by China Urban Environmental Sanitation Association in Hangzhou, Zhejiang.
The 9th Municipal Waste Incineration Technology and Equipment Seminar hosted by China Urban Environmental Sanitation Association was held in Hangzhou. The seminar attracted representatives from competent authorities, universities, research institutes, enterprises, and experts to discuss technical ways to improve resource utilization efficiency, display cutting-edge products and equipment in the field of waste incineration. The low-carbon, green and healthy development of the waste incineration industry were jointly promoted.
本次論壇以新發展格局下清潔焚燒的機遇與挑戰為主題，與會代表們齊聚盛會，行業主管部門、企業家代表和有關專家就中國生活垃圾焚燒市場格局、雙碳背景下垃圾焚燒發電企業的挑戰與破局之路、生活垃圾焚燒工程管理底線思維方法等熱點話題展開研討。
Focusing on the opportunities and challenges of clean incineration under the new development pattern, representatives from industry competent authorities, entrepreneurs, and experts discussed hot topics such as the market pattern of municipal waste incineration in China, WTE enterprises' challenges and breakthrough approaches under the "dual-carbon" targets, and the “bottom line thinking method” of waste incineration project management.

Focusing on the theme of the forum, the opportunities and challenges of clean incineration under the new development pattern, Chairman Wu made a wonderful speech of "Exploration on the BAT of Flue Gas Cleaning for Municipal Waste Incineration in China", which is favourable and praised in the forum participants.

On the basis of the report of the forum, the participants had a warm exchange and discussion on the pain points and solutions in the development of the waste incineration industry. The next day, the China Urban Environmental Sanitation Association held four special sub-forums, including the discussion on the domestic and international development status of sub-municipal waste incineration, science and technology leading to help the high-quality development of solid waste disposal, the Little Bee Public Welfare Forum for Environmental Protection, and the Innovation and Development Forum for Environmental Sanitation Management and Facility Supervision, to understand policies, analyze problems, exchange experiences, develop strategies, summarize achievements, explore future development, and promote the sustainability & high quality development of the municipal waste incineration industry. In the sub-forums, on the discussion of domestic and international development status of sub-municipal waste incineration, Huaxing's chief engineer Wu Zhiqiang gave a wonderful speech on "Selection of Flue Gas Cleaning process and cost control for sub-municipal waste incineration plants".

In the exhibition part of the forum, Huaxing demonstrated the advanced technology, equipment, management experience, and benchmark performance of waste incineration, which further promoted mutual learning, discussion, and exchange between the peers and customers.

On November 5, China Urban Environmental Sanitation Association organized the delegates visited and reviewedHaining Green Energy EP plant (which is an EPC reference of Huaxing), Hangzhou Linjiang Environmental Energy plant, and Hangzhou Jiufeng waste incineration power plant.
Municipal waste incineration has been highly valued by the CPC Central Committee, the State Council, and local governments at all levels. In recent years, the overall pattern of municipal waste incineration industry in China is quietly changing. The number of facilities, average capacity, and overall scale of waste incineration are growing, which has played a positive role in the development of municipal waste treatment and even the entire sanitation industry.
As an important part of waste incineration and environmental protection emissions, flue gas cleaning has always been an important factor affecting the development of the industry. As an leading company in the field of air governance, Huaxing has always been committed to the development and practice of advanced emission technologies. As one of the important participants in the industry, Huaxing has participated in the construction of more than 200 municipal waste incineration plants in China. Since 2004, CEA has successfully held 8 seminars on municipal waste incineration technology and equipment in Wenzhou, Chongqing, Shenzhen, Beijing, Qingdao, Chengdu, Ningbo, and Xi'an. The seminar on municipal waste incineration has become one of the characteristic series of activities of CEA. It is expected that through the industrial exchange platform built by the municipal waste incineration seminar, the waste incineration industry in China will further promote low-carbon, green and healthy development in the new era, and contribute to the building of a harmonious coexistence society between human and nature and the creation of a better life.
