The 8th "Waste Management and Waste-to-Energy Asia Environmental Protection Summit 2024-Focus on Vietnam" organized by INBC Global was grandly held in Ho Chi Minh City, the capital of Vietnam. Currently, Vietnam is in the process of rapid urbanization. Its huge energy demand and increasing urban solid waste and other issues are more prominent. As a destination country for the transfer of some Chinese industries, Vietnamese provinces are vigorously promoting waste-to-energy projects to achieve Energy disposal and utilization of local solid waste. On the morning of March 22, Huaxing East Co. and other guests visited the largest landfill plant in Ho Chi Minh City, and in the afternoon visited the first waste-to-energy plant in Binh Duong Province, Vietnam. The total investment in this project is US$49 million and will be completed in 2024. It was put into operation on January 12. The construction scale is to process 200 tons of garbage per day and generate power of 5MW. It is a trial project in Vietnam's waste-to-energy industry using domestic technology. This visit enabled the guests to further understand the current situation of local solid waste treatment and waste-to-energy industries in Vietnam.
